Aval Anachnu v'Avoteinu Chata'nu

I saw this article by rabbi Nathan Lopes Cardozo. The flaws in the Torah are because of, and according to, Chata'ei Avoteinu SheChat'u. Who wants to repair the flaws, will encounter the Chata'ei Avoteinu in the Talmidei Chachamim, who insist that this is not the truth, i.e., that there are no flaws in the Torah. We are Tzaddikim, Lo Chata'nu, we did not sin. But, Anachnu v'Avoteinu Chata'nu. אבל אנחנו ואבותינו חטאנו. We and our fathers sinned. אין לנו אלא דברי האמת. We only have the words of truth.
